Baby Shower Guest List
Generally close
friends and family members are invited to a baby shower. You'll need
to make a list of everyone you will invite to the baby shower as soon
as you have decided that you will host the occasion.
Unless you are
planning the baby shower as a surprise for mommy-to-be, its a good
idea to ask for her input when creating the guest list. This will
help ensure you don't slip up and overlook someone important when
determining who to invite, but most importantly, it will make certain
that the mommy-to-be has a happy time at her baby shower, surrounded
by all the people she would most like to see there.
Find out who she
would like to have at the shower, and ask her to provide you with a
list of names and contact details as soon as possible so you don't
find yourself scrambling at the last minute when it is time to send
out the invitations.
Knowing how many
people you are inviting right from the start is important because it
will be your guide in making other important decisions such as what
type of food to serve, how many invitations or baby shower favors you
will need to purchase, where to hold the shower, etc.
